Spot Light - Gerard Cosmetics

If you’re passionate about beauty products you have probably heard about Gerard Cosmetics.

Based in the USA the brand are perhaps most known for their lip products, which are well worth the hype, but there is considerably more to the brand. The brand is huge on Instagram, and with 1.2 million followers they have to be doing something right. It seems the beauty world is mad about Gerard Cosmetics.

CEO and founder Jen Gerard founded a popular teeth-whitening brand, White Lightening, in 2010 and soon began to release cosmetics under the same brand name. As the cosmetics line gained popularity and started to expand Gerard Cosmetics was born.

We stock a large range of products from the brand and if you’re wondering where to start then you can’t go wrong with the lipsticks. Priced at £9.95 and housed in glamorous gold bullets the lipsticks are available in huge range of shades and finishes. Perhaps the most famous is the shade 1995. Created with Jaclyn Hill, 1995 is inspired by the grunge era and is a matte finish. Also worth a look are the Lighted Lip Glosses. These are £995 and again come in a large range of shades, from sedate to daring and everything in between. The glosses are packed with pigment and can be worn sheerly or opaque depending on how heavily you apply them. If daring lip colours is your thing, be sure to check out Bahama, a stand out blue. If you’re looking for a pretty nude shade, take a look at Crystal, a beautiful nude with a touch of sparkle.

The Supreme Lip Cremes are a liquid lipstick in a mousse formula, designed for full opacity with a light, nourishing feel. These are £11.00 each and come in three shades. Angel Cake is a pale nude pink, Blooming Hibiscus is a bright coral shade and Wild Berry Tart is a beautiful berry hue.

Finally in the lip products are the Hydra Matte Liquid Lipsticks. The Hydra Matte Lipsticks are £13 each and designed to offer opaque, matte colour while adding moisture. There are 15 shades in the range with blood red Immortal and the coffee toned Iced Mocha being particular stand out shades

Brow Bar to Go (£19.95) was one the first products to launch from Gerard Cosmetics. Available in two colour ways, Blonde to Brunette and Medium to Ebony, these palettes offer three powders that can be used on both your brows and your eyelids. The Star Powders are £19.95 and ensure there’s a highlighter available for every skin tone. Dorothy is an intense bronze designed for deeper skin tones, while Grace is a pearlescent white gold. We have six shades to choose from.

Also available is the BB Plus Illumination Crème (£22.95). This multi tasker can be used in a variety of ways. BB Creams are famous for their anti-aging and hydrating properties and this product, with the addition of illumination particles means you can wear it alone, use it as a highlighter, mix it with your foundation or even use it as an illuminating primer.

Finally, we recently added the Eternal Black Eye Liner to our Gerard Cosmetics line up. An ultra black liquid liner that retails at £9.95.
